Basics class is slower-paced and focused on basic aikido techniques. Abe Sensei will explore basic technique fundamentals, including an introduction to aikido weapons. An ideal class for beginners and for more advanced students who aim to deepen their practice.

Weapons class is open to all levels and focuses on fundamentals and structured individual and partner practices of Aiki-ken (sword) and Aiki-jo (staff). Weapons training enhances every aspect of Tai-jutsu (empty-handed techniques), and learning these universally applicable principles enables the practitioner to handle attacks from one or more opponents.
